XMUM's Merit Scholarships offered in 2018 are based on the academic achievements. All incoming new students who enroll in XMUM’s Foundation or Undergraduate Programmes will be considered for the scholarships.
Requirement
- Malaysian only
- Study at Xiamen University Malaysia
- UEC results: Min 3As OR
- STPM / A-Levels results: Min 1A OR
- Diploma / Foundation / Matriculation: Min 3.00 CGPA
Quantum of Tuition Fee Waiver
Under the scholarship scheme, tuition fee waivers will be granted according to the actual results obtained in one of the entry qualifying examinations as stated below:
- UEC :
- 7As - 100% tuition fee waiver
- 6As - 70%
- 5As - 45%
- 4As - 30%
- 3As - 15%
- STPM/A-Level :
- 4As - 100% tuition fee waiver
- 3As - 75%
- 2As - 50%
- 1A - 25%
- Diploma / Foundation / Matriculation :
- 3.75 CGPA - 100% tuition fee waiver
- 3.50 CGPA - 50%
- 3.00 CGPA - 25%
Terms and Condition
- All recipients of the Merit Scholarship will be given a tuition fee waiver for the entire duration of their first year of undergraduate studies.
- For those embarking on an undergraduate programme, their scholarships are renewable for the subsequent academic years subject to their academic performance.
