Yayasan UTP Full Scholarship Programmes (July 2018 intake)

Yayasan UTP (UTP Foundation) was established in 2007 to promote and enhance education, and support the future development of Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) as an academic institution of excellence.

Requirements:

• Malaysian citizen
• Not a holder of any other scholarship awards
• 17 – 18 years old (with SPM 2017 results only)
• Monthly household income less than RM4000 (please provide this information in the Household section of your iScholar profile. Attach proof of parents' salary slip in Personal section of your iScholar profile)

Academic Criteria:

• Straight As with minimum 4A+

Successful scholarship applicant will be awarded all of the following:

• 5-year Full Tuition Fees (includes both Foundation and Degree programme)
• Hostel Fees
• Monthly Allowance RM700
• Yearly Book Allowance RM800
• Yearly Instrument Allowance RM150
• Yearly Return flight tickets (for Sabah and Sarawak Scholars)
• Computer Grant up to RM3,500
• Final Year Project RM250
• Industrial Internship Allowance RM800 per month

Field of Study:

Any of the Foundation programme followed by a chosen undergraduate programme:

• Foundation in Engineering and one undergraduate programme in:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Chemical
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Civil
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Computer
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Electrical and Electronics
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Mechanical
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Petroleum

• Foundation in Technology and one undergraduate programme in:

  • Bachelor of Technology (Hons) Petroleum Geoscience
  • Bachelor of Technology (Hons) Business Information Systems
  • Bachelor of Technology (Hons) Information and Communication Technology

• Foundation in Science and one undergraduate programme in:

  • Bachelor of Science (Hons) Applied Chemistry
  • Bachelor of Science (Hons) Applied Physics
